Posting PhotosPosting photos on this board is simple. You need a photo sharing website which will store your photos for you. I like to use photobucket.com/. Create an account. Upload your image. Copy the URL they assign to that image. In your thread, click the Insert Image Link (It's the little picture in a frame seen above). Paste the URL from your thread. NOTE: Look closely at what you're pasting. Some photo hosting websites already include the image in brackets - you don't need it twice. At Photobucket you have 2 choices. If you pick Direct Link it does not include the image tags so you have to click on the icon inside the thread and paste it in between. If you pick Image Code it inserts the image tags so you do not have to click on the Image icon in your thread. It should be: the link .

TY TY TY!
I've been struggling with various instructions for posting pictures on other boards. I'm never sure if boards all do it the same way or if there are seperate instructions for posting.
I can't thank you enough!

Hi Ever, Oh. I see the problem here. You are not pasting the image in between the codes. See you've got the two img icons in their brackets and then your link after. It should be like this: Click the image icon then below past your link IN BETWEEN the two middle brackets. So you have [ then img then ] then your photobucket link then [ then img then ]. The paste must be exactly in the middle. Every bracket must be in place. These things between brackets are html code which instructs the website as to what to do with the link you're giving them. I would just do it for you but I don't know which thread you intended the photo to go in. Try again or tell me where to paste your photo for you. Hope that helps!!

I still haven't tried to post one but I have a question. Does it have to be uploaded to photo bucket or can I upload it to my comcast storage? Sherry

Ok I opened an account at photobucket, then I followed your instructions, posting the link in the middle of the image brackets and I get a box with a red X.

Ok I opened an account at photobucket, then I followed your instructions, posting the link in the middle of the image brackets and I get a box with a red X. With photobucket Sherry there is a link there that is all ready for you. Look for the link they provide with the brackets and just copy and paste that one. - Kelly
