Now that everyone is getting used to the board and trying out new things we thought it was appropriate to set some guidelines for your signature lines. Signature pictures can be no larger than 600x200. Example: That one if 550x200 but we can have them a bit bigger but not too much. We need to enforce this because of those who have dial up or slower internet connections. Plus it will really tie up threads if everyone had really huge siggies that we had to scroll through. Not saying that big Skeet isn't good Skeet, just that we want to be able to read your posts too without them getting lost in a sea of siggies. Any questions regarding this guideline, please ask them here! - Kelly

Thank you Kelly - I am one of those few that have dial up and you're right about how long it takes to get these things loaded. Thank you for giving us a BEAUTIFUL example of Skeet to help us get the correct size.

Kelly,
I added another picture to my signature line. I personally think the picture of Jake in the shadows from the episode 'Rogue River' is to big. But every time I try to shrink it down it still shows up on this board big. I have made the picture small on photobucket but it still shows big here. What am I doing wrong??

When it comes to pretty sigs Libia I am pretty limited. I can cut pics and put them on a background similar to what I have in my siggie that a friend made but that is it. Maybe some of the other talented gals here can do better!
If you have something in mind just shout it out and someone could probably help! - Kelly

Libia,
I did not make my signature with my name on it. It was made by Tracy also know as Bombwatcher. All I did for the other one was copy it to photobucket and shrink it down. I'll try the picture one for you if you want. What picture do you want? I'll give it a shot!!!

I think I explained it very bad.... if you look at one of my posts you'll notice that from the end of the message until my signature there is always a big space without nothing. And since we have some rules about the size of the sig because of those who have dial up or slower internet connections, I was wondering if the space I'm taking without nothing on it will also harm those persons. Sorry for my english but its been 15 years since my last english class. But this only hapends when I leave a small message. For exe the previous post I left. Thank you for your patience..........

No problem! Actually that is what I thought you might be talking about. That happens sometimes when you have hard returns (possibly hitting enter) after the last sentence. See if you have some extra empty lines after your last sentence. If that isn't it then it could be the set up of your siggie. I will go check that for you too. Having those extra lines or spaces does not harm those with dial up at all so it really is no worry! Your posts are fine! - Kelly
