Cat, if you want to post a picture from CS like this just click on the picture you´d like to post with the right mouse button. This´ll cause a pop up menu to appear. If you click on "Properties" a new window will appear. There should be a URL address. Copy that URL and paste it in your post here. Then highlight the URL in your post by moving the mouse pointer to the first letter of the URL and then press the left mouse button and keep it held down. While holding the button, move the mouse cursor to the end of the URL. The URL should now be white over a blue background. Now just click the image icon above The image code for the pic above e.g. looks like this That´s it! Hope that helps

ok -i am very frustrated. I have followed the directions for posting a pic from CS.....I even tried it on a totally different computer.... Where I have probs is when I try to copy the url and post it.... the properties window opens, sometimes I can get the url highlighted, BUT neither a left or right click will let me copy and paste it to my post from the properties window? ? Is there something about the properties window that I am not getting!? I can copy and paste pics from photobucket and some other sites, but this CS thing is making me Any ideas?

So you are not able to copy a picture from the capturingskeet gallery? What browser do you use? I use foxfire so if you use something different this might look a bit different. Here is a visual: You highlight the url, right click, choose copy and then bring it here and right click, paste. Highlight the url again (because the cs gallery does not give you the img brackets) and then click on the picture icon fourth icon in on the second line of commands in your reply post (like roro's visual above). This should do it. Please let me know where you get stuck! - Kelly

Well what I've done was simple. On your photobucket are 4 codes next to the pic you want to share. Then you choose IMG Code - Forums & Bulletin Boards and all you have to do is paste that code. Well it works for me and if it wasnt for Kelly and Roro I think I'll never post nothing but words....Thank you girls for all the help!

Kelly: You are one amazing women. I just love your caps. Is there anything you can't cap for someone???
Trishka: As you could probably see from this thread - I was having a hard time posting pictures also. It took a few tries by the girls really helped me.
I am glad you can post now. It can be frustrating sometimes - I know. But if you have a problem the girls will take care of you.
Good luck- Cat

I have Internet EXplorer - but I just may get a download of a newer version.... Where the puter gets stuck is after I highlight the url, and right click to copy, there is no box that opens to let me copy. The only thing I can do is close the box. And that of course does not give me a copy to paste I am a person who oftens "learns by trial and error" - and generally with good results....just takes persistance... ;D

Dee Try highlighting the section with the url and then click the 2 keys, control c on you keyboard at the same time. Go to your message and then on your keyboard click control v and it should appear.

Beautiful picture, dee. Great job. I had never done any of this before either, but just reading everyone's posts and playing around a little with stuff I've managed to learn a few new things. Everyone here is extremely helpful. It's great that everyone wants to share the fun.

I checked and the url you are trying to make an image is actually the page address and not the picture url. You need to right click right on the picture and copy that url which will look like this: skeesai.smugmug.com/photos/312405780_FYPhc-S.jpg for that particular picture. You will then put your img brackets around it like you did. Hope that helps. - Kelly

ok, i found a pic of skeet and some other guy that i've never seen before but i can not for the life of me save it myself, or even post the link......both of which i've done a thousand times with other finds. I was able to save the pic to a word file of all things but once again, i can't post it. i'd be willing to send the file to someone who knows how to take it from word and make it a postable file. anyone with any ideas? i already have a huge photobucket account and thats where I usually upload and post from but this file just isn't working conventionally.......anyone?
